Gary is a multiple Emmy award-winning composer, public speaker, performer, & music wellness innovator who produces strategies for health, wellness, & a more compassionate world. He is dedicated to redefining music’s role in our institutions, with a focus on supporting those traversing life’s significant transitions. As Artistic Director for Executive Leadership coach Jeff Patnaude’s groundbreaking leadership coaching program, The Habits of Heroes, Gary is passionate about developing immersive educational tools for optimal impact and effectiveness. After composing for mainstream media for many years, Malkin co-produced the globally acclaimed classic, Graceful Passages with Michael & Doris Stillwater. This groundbreaking work has touched nearly a million people, offering support for those traversing the dying process. Gary created the music for the Pachamama Alliance’s Awakening the Dreamer Symposium & also served as Artistic Director for The Caravan of Unity (Grace Cathedral) & the Global Philanthropy Summit, curating musical performances for deeper emotional impact. After winning a Hollywood Music in Media Award for Thrive I, one of the most widely viewed documentaries in history, he was invited to compose for Thrive’s recently released sequel. Through his company, Wisdom of the World Wellness, Gary is discovering ways to synergize the power of music for a more meaningful life.
